What are the StockYatra leagues?

Five weekly leagues: Fox, Bull, Cheetah, Tiger and Lion. Each week you compete in a group of up to 30 traders, and the top of the group moves up a league while the bottom moves down.

When does a league week start?

Every Sunday at 00:00 Nepal time. Results are settled and a new week begins automatically.

How do I earn league points?

By opening practice trades, closing trades in profit, completing lessons, passing quizzes with 80% or more, making the daily call and keeping your streak. Each activity has a daily cap.

What is a streak freeze?

A freeze costs 1,000 virtual coins and protects your streak for one missed day. You can hold up to two at a time.

How does the daily Bull-or-Bear call work?

Before 11:00 Nepal time you call whether StockYatra's simulated Nepal board will be up or down by 15:00, and optionally pick which of three stocks will rise most. A right direction pays 200 coins and a right pick 300 coins.

Is the daily call a prediction of the real NEPSE?

No. It is a learning game played with virtual coins on StockYatra's simulated prices. It is not investment advice or a forecast of the real market.

Weekly Leagues, Streaks & Daily Call | StockYatra

The traders who improve fastest are rarely the ones who study hardest for a weekend. They are the ones who show up a little every day: one lesson, one practice trade, one honest look at what happened. StockYatra's game layer exists to make that daily habit easier. It has three parts: weekly leagues, an activity streak and the daily Bull-or-Bear call.

In short

Every week you compete in a group of up to 30 traders in one of five leagues: Fox, Bull, Cheetah, Tiger, Lion.
Trades, lessons, quizzes, the daily call and your streak earn league points (LP), with daily caps so nothing can be farmed.
The top of each group moves up a league; the bottom moves down. The top three earn 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 coins.
The daily call closes at 11:00 and settles at 15:00 Nepal time. It is a game on simulated prices, not a forecast.

Weekly leagues: Fox to Lion

Five StockYatra weekly leagues rising from Fox to Bull, Cheetah, Tiger and Lion — Five leagues. Move up by being active and consistent, not by taking big risks.

A league week starts every Sunday at 00:00 Nepal time. When you are active, you are placed in a group of up to 30 traders in your current league. Everyone starts in the Fox League; above it are Bull, Cheetah, Tiger and Lion, the top league.

Promotion, demotion and prizes

When the week ends, your group is ranked by league points:

About the top sixth of the group (up to five traders) moves up a league, as long as they earned some points.
About the bottom sixth (up to five) moves down a league. Nobody drops below Fox.
Everyone else stays put.
The top three in each group win 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 coins.

A StockYatra league group standings view with promotion zone at the top, a safe middle and a demotion zone at the bottom — The group view shows who is in the promotion zone, who is safe and who is at risk.

Your league shows on the Leaderboard tab (the default view is Weekly League) and on the Home screen's Today hub, so you always know where you stand and how many points separate you from the next zone.

How to earn league points

League points reward activity and learning, not risky bets. Each activity has a daily cap, so one thing cannot be farmed:

Key idea: A lesson is worth more league points than a winning trade. That is deliberate: in StockYatra, learning is how you climb.

Activity streaks and freezes

Your streak counts the days in a row you did something useful: a practice trade, a lesson or the daily call. Longer streaks earn a bigger daily league-point bonus, up to a cap. At 20:00 Nepal time, if you have not been active yet, StockYatra sends a gentle reminder.

Streak freezes

Life happens. A streak freeze costs 1,000 coins, you can hold up to two, and each one bridges a single missed day so your streak survives. Use them for exams, festivals or travel; do not rely on them every week.

The daily Bull-or-Bear call

Each day StockYatra picks three stocks from its simulated Nepal board. Before 11:00 Nepal time, you make two calls:

Bull or Bear: will the board as a whole be up or down by 15:00?
Best pick (optional): which of the three stocks will rise the most?

At 11:00 calls lock and the starting prices are saved. At 15:00 the result is worked out from the average move of all stocks on the simulated Nepal board. A right direction earns 200 coins and 30 league points; a right pick earns 300 coins and 40 league points. A reminder arrives at 10:00 if you have not called yet.

Why a daily call helps you learn

Making a small, committed call every day trains you to form a view, write down why, and then check it against what really happened, without real money on the line. Over a month, your call history becomes an honest record of how good your reads are. Understanding bull and bear markets helps you frame each call.

A good daily routine takes ten minutes: make the call, watch one video in the Watch feed, finish one lesson, and place or review one practice trade.
