Frequently asked questions

Where can I check my IPO result in Nepal?

Two official places: the CDSC IPO Result website (iporesult.cdsc.com.np), where you enter the company and your BOID, and Meroshare under My ASBA → Application Report. Both show whether you were allotted shares.

What is a BOID?

BOID (Beneficial Owner Identification) is your 16-digit Demat account number. You need it to check IPO results on the CDSC site.

When is the IPO result published?

Allotment usually happens within a few days to a couple of weeks after the issue closes, depending on the issue manager. The allotment date is announced with each IPO — you’ll find it on that issue’s page in our IPO calendar.

What happens to my money if I don’t get allotted?

Nothing is lost. Under ASBA the amount was only blocked in your bank, not debited. If you aren’t allotted (or are partially allotted), the un-used amount is automatically unblocked and stays in your account.

I got allotted — where are my shares?

Allotted shares are credited directly to your Demat account and will show in Meroshare under your holdings. Once the company lists on NEPSE, you can sell them through your broker.
