How to pay on StockYatra
Pay by QR with any bank app, eSewa or Khalti (or UPI from India), or pay with eSewa. Nothing is charged if a payment doesn’t go through.
Pay by QR in four steps
1. Open Pay
In the StockYatra Android app or at trade.stockyatra.com, open Pro or Wallet and tap Pay. Choose “Pay by QR”.
2. Save or scan the QR
Tap “Save QR to phone”, then in your bank app, eSewa or Khalti tap Scan and pick the QR from your gallery. From India, scan it with any UPI app.
3. Pay the exact amount
Type the exact amount shown on the page. In remarks, write your SY- code (for example SY-4F7K2Q).
4. Paste the transaction ID
Back on the StockYatra page, paste the transaction ID from your bank app and tap “I’ve paid”. We check it and add it within a few hours.
Pay with eSewa
1. Know your eSewa sign-in
eSewa’s payment page asks for your eSewa ID (your mobile number) and your eSewa password/PIN. If you only use fingerprint in the eSewa app and don’t remember it, reset it in the eSewa app first.
2. Tap Pay with eSewa
On the pay page choose eSewa. Sign in, wait for the tick in “I’m not a robot”, then confirm.
3. Stay until it comes back
Keep enough balance and stay on the page until it returns to StockYatra. Pro or your wallet updates by itself.

- eSewa बाट तिर्ने हो भने: आफ्नो eSewa ID (मोबाइल नम्बर) र eSewa पासवर्ड/PIN चाहिन्छ। बिर्सनुभयो भने पहिले eSewa एपमा रिसेट गर्नुहोस्।
Payment help
Which way is easiest?
Pay by QR. It works with any Nepali bank app, eSewa or Khalti, and with UPI from India, and you never have to sign in to eSewa’s website.
My eSewa payment failed. Was I charged?
No. A failed or cancelled try takes nothing. If money did leave your account, reply to our email or message Lumi in the app with a screenshot and we’ll sort it out.
eSewa won’t let me sign in.
eSewa’s payment page needs your eSewa ID (mobile number) and your eSewa password/PIN, not your fingerprint. Reset it in the eSewa app, or skip it and pay by QR.
How long does a QR payment take?
We check every QR payment by hand against our bank statement, usually within a few hours. Pro or your wallet switches on as soon as it’s approved, and you get a notification.
How much can I add to my wallet?
On Android and the web you can add Rs 100, Rs 200 or Rs 500. Courses cost Rs 10–20 each.
I’m on iPhone.
On iPhone, Pro and wallet top-ups go through the App Store with your Apple ID.
Can someone else pay for me?
Yes. In the app tap “Ask someone to pay” to make a 5-minute link. Whoever opens it can pay by QR or eSewa, and it’s added to your account.
