Learn by doing

Learn an indicator — then see it on the chart.

Each card adds the indicator to the selected chart (NABIL). Indicators describe the past; none of them predicts the future.

RSI

Momentum on a 0–100 scale.

Above 70 is often called overbought, below 30 oversold — a warning, not a signal on its own.

MACD

Two moving averages and the gap between them.

The line crossing its signal line shows momentum changing direction.

Bollinger Bands

A band two standard deviations around the average.

Tight bands mean a quiet market; a close outside the band means an unusual move.

Supertrend

A trailing line that flips with the trend.

Green under price in uptrends, red above it in downtrends.

VWAP

The average price weighted by volume.

Many intraday traders compare price to VWAP to judge who is in control.

Auto support & resistance

Levels where price turned before.

Price often pauses near old turning points — watch how it behaves there.

Ichimoku cloud

Trend, momentum and levels in one view.

Price above the cloud reads as strength, below it as weakness.

Candle patterns

Marks engulfing, doji, hammer and more.

Patterns describe a fight between buyers and sellers — context matters most.

Questions

Charts & Lumi AI — FAQ

Are these charts free?

Yes. Every chart type, indicator, drawing tool, bar replay and the multi-chart layouts are free, with no sign-up. Lumi AI gives a few free chart reads a day on the website, and more in the app.

Are the prices real?

They are StockYatra practice-market prices: a live simulation that moves around each stock's real-world price level. They are for learning and are not official exchange quotes.

What is bar replay?

Bar replay hides the newer candles so you can step through a chart's history one candle at a time — guess the next move, then reveal it. It is the safest way to practise reading charts.

What does Lumi AI do?

Lumi reads the numbers the server calculates from the chart — trend, momentum, volatility and nearby levels — and explains them in plain Nepali or English. It never tells you to buy or sell and never predicts prices.

Can I see more than one chart?

Yes. Switch to side-by-side or a grid of four. Each chart keeps its own timeframe, indicators and drawings; click a chart, then pick a stock to load it there.

Are my drawings and settings saved?

Yes, in your browser: indicators and layout per chart, drawings per stock, and your ★ watchlist. Clearing site data resets them.
