What's new in StockYatra
New features and improvements across the app, the website and the web trade terminal, newest first. App releases reach the App Store and Google Play in stages, so an update can take a few days to appear on your phone.
#StockYatra 2.1.0: pro charts and Ask Lumi
The biggest chart upgrade the app has had, plus Lumi, our AI helper, now answers your questions in chat. Live on Google Play; rolling out on the App Store.
- 46 working indicators on the stock chart: overlays on the price plus stacked panes for RSI, MACD and other oscillators.
- New chart types: hollow candles, Renko, line break, baseline and real OHLC bars.
- Ask Lumi to explain any chart in plain words: trend, momentum, volatility and the levels to watch. Lumi never tells you to buy or sell.
- Ask Lumi button in chat opens a private conversation with Lumi. Lumi's AI answers carry an AI tag so you always know who is talking.
- You choose whether Lumi uses AI: a one-time consent screen and an on/off switch in Settings.
- A full-screen order ticket with the live price in the header, so Buy and Sell are always on screen, on every phone size.
- Trade sheets now scroll end to end on Android.
- Pick your city once to appear on the community map. Search the list or type your own; country is filled in for you.

#Free pro charts on the web
A full charting workspace on stockyatra.com and in the web trade terminal, free and with no sign-up on the website.
- New /charts page: 10 chart types, 46 indicators, 10 drawing tools, compare up to three stocks, log and % scale, fullscreen and PNG export. Open
- Bar replay: hide the future and step through history candle by candle at 1x to 10x speed. The safest way to practise reading charts. Open
- Multi-chart layouts (one, two or four charts) and a live watchlist with day-range bars, sorting and starred stocks. Open
- Lumi AI market wrap on each market board: breadth, top movers and a short story of the session, refreshed through the day. Open
- The same pro chart inside the trade terminal, with bar replay, templates and Lumi AI explanations, opening on the latest bars.
- StockYatra Cup page and course certificates in the terminal: claim, view and share them just like in the app.
- Find friends faster: search plus All, Online and Unread filters.
- If something goes wrong you now see a clear error screen with Try again, instead of a blank page.
#Community map and a new footer
See where StockYatra traders practise from, built only from the city people choose in their profile.
- Live community map on the data page: members by city on a Nepal map and by country on a world map. Cities appear only once three or more members pick them. Open
- A short intro video card you can drag, mute, expand or close.
- A richer footer with live counters, market clocks, fresh articles, Cup leaders and quick links to tools, stocks and Nepali pages.
#StockYatra Cup and course certificates
A monthly competition for the whole community, and a certificate you can share when you finish a course.
- StockYatra Cup: monthly standings built from league points, with a card on the League tab and a full standings screen.
- Public Cup standings page, updated through the month. Open
- Course certificates: finish a course, get a certificate with its own code, share it, and find all of yours under My certificates in the Academy.
- Anyone can check a certificate is genuine by entering its code on the website.
#Live numbers and a faster website
The website now shows real, live figures from the platform, and loads much faster.
- The app is live: every waitlist button is now a real download link. Open
- Live counters and a Loved by Users wall of real store reviews on the home page.
- New data page: daily growth, community and learning figures, and a record book. Open
- Blog now has numbered pages plus category and tag hubs, so older guides are easy to find. Open
- Faster pages and better accessibility: stronger contrast, visible focus, a skip link, and sound off by default.
#Watch feed, chat polls and moderators
Swipe through every StockYatra video in one feed, and a better-run Global chat.
- Watch: a swipeable feed of all StockYatra videos (how-tos, lesson explainers and creator clips) with likes, comments, saves and shares.
- Moderators can run polls and pin one message in Global chat. Vote, change your vote and watch results update live.
- Polls and the pinned message bar in the web terminal chat too.
- Moderators wear a MOD crown, and muted users see a clear countdown instead of a dead composer.
- Chat shortcuts: type a short trigger to drop a handy card, such as a scam warning, a refer link or a live market snapshot. A Chat guide lists them all.
- Loved by Users: read what other traders say about StockYatra, right in the app.
#Lesson videos in Nepali, English and Hindi
Lessons now come with real explainer videos, and help videos are a tap away from chat.
- Every lesson can now play an explainer video, with a switch between Nepali, English and Hindi.

- Short Nepali help videos for every main screen: open them from chat with #, or from the help list.
