Renew your Meroshare and demat account
Meroshare (Rs 50/year) and demat maintenance (Rs 100/year) are annual. If Meroshare expires you can't apply for IPOs — renew online before the expiry date.
Renew online — step by step
- 1
Log in to Meroshare
If it says the account has expired, you'll usually still be able to reach the renewal screen.
- 2
Open the renewal option
Find the renewal/payment option (from your profile or the dashboard prompt).
- 3
Choose a payment partner
Pick a supported wallet such as Khalti and select what to renew (Meroshare, demat, or both; multiple years may be offered).
- 4
Pay and confirm
Complete the payment. The renewal normally reflects automatically; log out and back in to see the new expiry.
Prefer doing it in person? Your DP can renew it at the counter.
What if it already expired?
- Meroshare expired: you can't apply for IPOs or use EDIS/online services until you renew. Your shares are safe — they stay in your demat.
- Demat fee unpaid: your DP may charge the arrears; pay them to avoid restrictions on the account.
- Can't log in to renew? Contact your DP — they can renew it for you.
