1.Our Commitment

This Accessibility Statement explains how we approach accessibility across StockYatra — the website, mobile apps and related services (together, the "Service").

1. 1.1StockYatra is an educational paper-trading simulator, and we believe learning about markets should be open to everyone. We are committed to making the Service usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology.
2. 1.2Accessibility is not a one-time task for us. It is part of how we design, build and review the Service, and something we keep working on over time.
3. 1.3This statement sits alongside our other Notices and should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2.The Standard We Aim For

1. 2.1We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a goal. These guidelines are an internationally recognised benchmark for making digital content more accessible.
2. 2.2This is a best-effort commitment, not a formal certification or a claim of full conformance. We do not assert that every page, screen or feature meets every WCAG 2.1 Level AA criterion at all times.
3. 2.3As the Service changes and grows, some parts will meet this standard more closely than others. We aim to close the gaps over time.

3.Measures We Take

In building the Service, we try to follow accessibility good practice. Among other things, we aim to:

1. 3.1Build with accessibility in mind, including:
   • using semantic HTML so structure and headings are meaningful to assistive technology;
   • supporting keyboard navigation so the Service can be used without a mouse;
   • aiming for sufficient colour contrast between text and its background;
   • offering both a light and a dark theme so you can choose what is easier to read;
   • using responsive layouts that scale across phones, tablets and desktops, and that respond to browser zoom and larger text;
   • providing descriptive alt text for meaningful images, and labels for form fields and interactive controls.
2. 3.2Prefer plain, direct language so that content is easier to understand, particularly for something as unfamiliar as market terminology.
3. 3.3Consider accessibility when we add or change features, rather than treating it as an afterthought.

4.Known Limitations

We want to be honest about where the Service may fall short today. Known limitations include:

1. 4.1Certain visual and interactive elements can be difficult for some users, including:
   • animated and 3D visuals used for decoration or illustration, which may be distracting or hard to interpret;
   • simulated market charts and graphs, where information conveyed visually may not be fully available in a non-visual form;
   • fast-moving or frequently updating data, which can be harder to follow with some assistive technologies.
2. 4.2Downloadable PDF versions of our documents may be less accessible than the equivalent web page. Where a document is offered as both a web page and a PDF, the on-page version is always the accessible source of truth.
3. 4.3We are aware of these limitations and treat them as areas to improve, not as the finished state of the Service.

5.Ongoing Work

1. 5.1Accessibility on the Service is continually improving as we iterate. We review and refine pages and features over time, and we factor accessibility into new work.
2. 5.2Because we ship changes regularly, the accessibility of any given page may improve between releases. This statement describes our general approach rather than the state of any single screen on any single day.

6.Getting Help or an Alternative Format

1. 6.1If you cannot access part of the Service, or you need information in a different format, email us at support@stockyatra.com and we will do our best to help or to provide the information another way.
2. 6.2Please tell us what you were trying to do, the page or screen involved, and the assistive technology, browser or device you were using, so we can understand and respond to the barrier.

7.Third-Party Content

1. 7.1The Service may link to external websites or include embedded third-party tools that we do not control. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of that external content.
2. 7.2If you meet an accessibility barrier on a third-party site or tool reached through the Service, we encourage you to contact that provider directly. You may also let us know at support@stockyatra.com so we can consider it.

8.Compatibility

1. 8.1The Service is designed to work with current versions of common web browsers and with widely used assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers and keyboard-only navigation.
2. 8.2We cannot guarantee full compatibility with every browser, device or assistive technology, particularly older or less common ones. Using an up-to-date browser and assistive technology generally gives the best experience.

9.Feedback

1. 9.1We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Service. Your experience helps us find and fix barriers we may not have noticed.
2. 9.2Please send accessibility feedback to hello@stockyatra.com. We read it and use it to prioritise improvements, though we cannot promise a specific outcome or timeframe.
