Cookie Policy

What cookies and local storage we use, why, and how you can control them.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Together with similar technologies such as localStorage, they let a site remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. We keep our use of these deliberately light.

How we use them

  • Essential — remember your theme (light/dark) and basic session state so the site works. These cannot be switched off without breaking core features.
  • Preferences — remember choices such as your selected market (NEPSE / NSE) or dismissed notices.
  • Analytics — if enabled, privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics help us understand which pages are useful. We do not sell this data.

We do not use cookies to trade, to hold money, or to build advertising profiles for sale.

Third-party services

Some pages load resources from third parties (for example, our hosting/CDN provider, or embedded content). Those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies. Live market data is fetched from our API and does not require advertising cookies.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and clear localStorage from your browser's site data controls. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal, which we respect where technically feasible.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
