Community Guidelines

StockYatra is a place to learn together. These guidelines keep it honest, kind and useful.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Our community features — profiles, circles, leaderboards and discussions — exist to help people learn to trade. Everyone is welcome; being a beginner is the whole point.

Do

  • Be respectful and constructive. Assume good faith and help newcomers.
  • Share what you're learning — setups, mistakes, questions — as education, not as tips.
  • Be honest that everything here is simulated practice.

Don't

  • Give investment advice, sell “tips” or “signals”, or promise profits or guaranteed returns.
  • Solicit money, run pump groups, or promote external trading/deposit schemes.
  • Present simulated results as real, or use them to recruit investors.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or dox anyone.
  • Post spam, scams, malware, adult content, or anything unlawful or infringing.
  • Impersonate others, StockYatra staff, exchanges or regulators.

A note on “tips”

Trading tips and guaranteed-return claims are the most common way people get hurt in the markets. StockYatra is about building your own judgement — so we don't allow tip-selling or signal services, paid or free.

Enforcement

We may remove content and warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts that break these guidelines or our Acceptable Use Policy. Report problems via the contact page.
